This episode of the Replacement Level Podcast features David Lennon. David is the national baseball writer for Newsday.
He joined me to discuss the Yankees, Mets, and his Hall of Fame ballot. He spoke about the Paxton trade, the Happ signing, and the likelihood that Manny Machado is playing in pinstripes next year. He also analyzed the Cano trade and the Ramos signing. In addition to the Mets and Yankees talk, he gave his predictions as to where Bryce Harper and Manny Machado end up and for how much they sign for.
He also discussed his Hall of Fame ballot. David had a change in voting philosophy this year. He explained why Harold Baines getting in influenced his ballot and why he left Mussina, Schilling, and Martinez off this year.
