Really great podcast – first time visitor. Especially loved the part about rookie card values and how collectors started following the price-setters instead of the other way around. It was when this started that I stopped actively collecting because it became less fun. Sounds like I’m not in as much of a minority about that as I thought. Thanks for the good session.
Thanks, Tom! I do like rookies too because that’s what I cared about when I was a kid, but turning a card over and seeing no stats or just a year’s worth is very unsatisfying to me.
