This episode of the Replacement Level Podcast features C. Trent Rosecrans. Trent covers the Reds for the Cincinnati Enquirer. We talked about the possibility of the Reds trading pitching for outfielders and proposed some trades we each thought made sense. He also gave his opinion on the long term contracts signed by Joey Votto, Brandon Phillips, and Homer Bailey.
Trent will be voting for the Hall of Fame for the first time this year. He and I discussed ways to improve the voting process, what to do with the steroid guys, and if the BBWAA are still the most qualified group of voters.
